Shazam was one of the very first apps I ever added to my first iPhone. It was surely in the top 5 if not the top 3, & it's so useful to a music lover like me! How I ever did without it still seems crazy to me, so it must never be allowed to go away or taken from any App Store. The Shazam app on iPhone works fine. All my settings are set so that Shazam app on watch has access to my iPhone microphone. I cannot figure out what is happening. This seems to have started with either an IOS update or possibly a Shazam update, can't remember now which one it was. Before then Shazam on my Apple watch worked beautifully. Acquired by Apple in 2018, Shazam is one of the world’s most famous audio recognition services. You can use Shazam to identify music, movies, adverts, and TV shows, based on a short snippet of audio. Shazam App Will Soon Become Ad-Free For All Users

Cupertino, California — Apple today announced it has completed its acquisition of Shazam, one of the world’s most popular and highly-rated music apps, used by hundreds of millions of people worldwide.
